Skip Barker, one of the US literary agents claims that his Massachusetts-based Wilson Devereux agency does a steady trade selling his clients' book proposals to science-friendly publishers. He believes that there is still enough money to be made and satisfaction to be had, from writing popular science books, even if they do not turn out to be blockbusters.

The possibilities to explore Jupiter's moon Europa, which could be a possible habitat for life, are discussed. A study completed by Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) resolved some of the barriers to exploration, and the mission might get backing by NASA.
