Arsenic and Bogongs

Article Abstract:

The result of a research conducted among the Bogong Moths reveals that these moths are ferrying arsenic into the Alps. These moths are believed to migrate from particular larval sites to traditional aestivation sites according to different soil samples.

The Australian Magpies is capable of transversing four octaves with ease and mimicking human speech. The impressive feature of Magpie mimicry is the accurate rendering of the structure of each sound, which is considered methodical and precise.
