Sightings: News from the last great places on earth

Article Abstract:

Numerous stewards of a group work in the aftermath of the 2005 Atlantic storm season by spending days clearing felled trees that block access to preserves and could fuel wildfires. The Conservancy joined other conservation groups to restore the Gulf Coast's natural hurricane protection system and they worked with federal and state agencies to develop recovery plans for the coast while working to acquire land to restore the gulf's natural areas.
