Article Abstract:

One of the projects of the wildlife conservation society along with the Sikhote-Alin Zapovednik, is the protection of tigers from poachers by giving them radio-collars that helps the conservationist to track them when needed. An account of the rescues made by the conservationist in different situations is described.

A two-year-old in trouble

Article Abstract:

The sick young tigress was rescued on November 26 in a small town bordering China in the Russian far east. There were no evidence found of trauma but it was concluded that the tigress mostly had viral disease, or has been poisoned.
