Testing new grounds

Article Abstract:

The software programmers at the molecular-diagnostics business unit of Bayer Diagnostics responsible for modifying the treatment algorithms for the company's HIV-1-resitance software must update their algorithms regularly. Females increase offspring heterozygosity and fitness through extra-pair matings

Article Abstract:

Research examines the reproductive behavior of female animals with reference to blue tits, Parus caeruleus. The females aim at heterozygosity of their progeny via extra-pair matings. Results indicate that the offsprings produced are of higher reproductive value, less inbred, possess an elaborate crown color and higher reproductive success and survival rate.
