The trailer park tom

Article Abstract:

When the Bell Haven Trailer Park in Miami-Dade County, Florida was closed down in the Fall of 2000, many former residents left behind both belongings and pets when they moved out. In September 2000, volunteers from The Cat Network picked up approximately 140 animals, including Bleu, a Russian Blue cat.

Article Abstract:

The Humane Education by Alternative Learning program in Maryland uses pet therapy to help rehabilitate juvenile offenders. Selected juveniles learn to train abandoned dogs, learning useful skills in the process, as well as achieving greater insight into their own behavior.
