Unsung heroes

Article Abstract:

Dee Patras and Stefanie Clay of Alley Animals are committed to their cause of feeding homeless cats and other animals roaming Baltimore's alleys. Two-member teams are deployed every other night, passing over 385 alleys and feeding roughly 3,000 animals a night.

Sam Jaffe and his wife Miyung Kim decided to become a part of the National Greyhound Adoption program when they saw the plight of greyhounds. They offered their home to become the sanctuary for dogs, Belka and Leo.
