Plans for research watchdog praised, but it may lack teeth

The plans for appointing a new research watchdog for the British biomedical science is appreciated, but at the same time has created controversy for accepting funding from the pharmaceutical industry. Critics fear that the proposed U.K. Panel for Health and Biomedical Research Integrity might lack the grit to police research properly.
