Article Abstract:

The experiments at the Brookhaven National Laboratory have created a new form of matter where Brookhaven's particle accelerator, the Relativistic heavy Ion Collider has collided atoms together to make a hot matter, which they call quark-gluon plasma. Controversy has erupted among experimentalist regarding naming this matter as quark-gluon plasma.

Article Abstract:

Nanosized particles could result in environmental pollution or even the loss of human life. Micrometre-sized clumps of nanoparticles are relatively unreactive as they have a smaller surface area than that of the same number of individual nanoparticles and they are too large to enter the blood stream when breathed in.

Article Abstract:

The US military needs blood supplies that can be stored and moved easily, hence Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency developed a technology that will allow blood to be freeze-dried. These freeze-dried packets of blood would be stable, lightweight and just requiring water to be reconstituted.
