Where things are hopping

Article Abstract:

Lamington National Park, Australia, offers visitors a wide variety of wildlife sights and experiences. Dedicated in 1915, the mountainous forest region is home to species such as the sugar glider, kangaroo, regent bowerbird, parrots and duck-billed platypus. Plant life is also diverse, and includes eucalyptus, beech, and other temperate rain forest species. The park provides dining and campground accommodations for visitors, and sponsors several naturalist programs.
