New IVC location in Pittsburgh

Article Abstract:

The new Interactive Videoconferencing Center (IVC) in Philadelphia, PA, has established an electronic link to a new suite of IVC meeting rooms in Pittsburgh, PA. Both IVC centers feature a complete range of state-of-the- art videoconferencing equipment and technology. All equipment used by the IVC centers are highly user-friendly. The centers are operated by Braintree, MA-based Interactive Videoconferencing Centers Inc, which has facilities in 38 states, the District of Columbia, the Caribbean Islands and Central America.

Major film & video awards to locals

Article Abstract:

The 1998 International Film and Video Festival in the US featured seven Philadelphia, PA, area companies and individuals among the award winners. The competition, which is one of the world's leading events, received more than 1,600 entries from 29 nations. It recognizes outstanding business, television, industrial and international motion picture and video productions. Philadelphia area award winners included Tracey McCarthy of Development Dimensions International and Jim Starr.

Helena's Restaurant, which provides courteous and personal service, is seen as the first restaurant to lead the Olde City Restaurant trend, previously the H.A. Winston's in Philadelphia, PA. The restaurant, which is open daily for dinner, offers distinctly cooked and big portios of International and American fares. Reservations and all major credit cards are accepted at the restaurant.
