Philadelphia, PA-based Today's Graphics Inc has acquired two new digital printing presses. These are the Heidelberg Speedmaster 74 DI Digital Printing Press and the Indigo UltraStream Digital Press. The company claims to be only the third firm in North America to have a Heidelberg printing press. During St Patrick's Day, the company demonstrated the capabilities of the new state-of-the-art printing presses.

Business community welcomes new hotel

Ritz Carlton Hotel Company LLC, which is opening a new hotel in Philadelphia, PA, in late Jul 2000, received a welcome from about 150 members of the Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce on Jun 22, 2000. The welcome was extended during a breakfast meeting of the association at the Union League. The Ritz Carlton Philadelphia, owned by developer Arden Group Inc, will use the address 'Ten Avenue of the Arts.'

Long-established printers merge their businesses
Article Abstract:
Fairmount Printing House and National Compu-Graphix Inc, two of the oldest printing firms in Bensalem, PA, have united their operations. The combined company, which will be headed by National Compu-Graphix founder CEO Don Weiner and COO Steve Rubin, will have six sheetfed presses and five web presses as well as a state-of-the-art prepress unit that offers inhouse color proofing and imaging services.
