Defiant Britain; mapping the bunkers and pillboxes built to stymie a Nazi invasion
Article Abstract:
Remains of fortifications from Exercise Pilgrim, the British response to the feared German invasion during World War II, are described. These remains have such colorful names as dragon's teeth and pillboxes. Those which have not been rzed in suburban development are put to various novel uses.

Visitor turn-ins of potsherds and other antiquities they have stolen from archaeological sites are described. The Chaco Canyon complex is concentrated on , where such turn-ins have helped swell Chaco's storerooms.
