High definition archaeology: ideas and evaluation
Article Abstract:
Analyses of high resolution data from archaeological sites or projects have traced relationships or decision paths that could not have been observed through simpler techniques of recording and analysis. High resolution archaeology is suited for well-preserved sites where it can be applied on a micro-scale, on a medium scale or on a large scale. However, such endeavors are expensive, especially high resolution archaeology of massive 'flagship' sites.
