A colorful life
Article Abstract:
A couple has restored a 1790 saltbox into one of the most beautiful colonial houses in Connecticut by decorating it with antique furniture and art pieces and furnishings from old homes. They also used a combination of Chinese, Italian and French designs to create an aura of the Colonial times.

Franklin: "the best small town in Tennessee."
Article Abstract:
Early 19th century design and architecture characterize the collection of old family homesteads in Franklin, TN. The houses were restored by the Downtown Franklin Assn. not only for their contribution to art, but also for their historical significance.

A colorful garden for use and delight

What was once an asphalt parking area has been transformed into an herb garden filled with scented herbs and colored blooms. Sandra Hogan's son developed an historic herb garden for her Connecticut home, a renovated stable.
