Just thinking
Article Abstract:
The first step in proposing a redesign of a newspaper layout is research. The proponent of the redesign must approach the marketing research personnel of the newspaper and ask to be given the relevant information about the paper's subscribers and non-subscribers. Only when the proponent is confident of being able to explain how the redesign will translate into benefits, as in monetary gain, must an attempt to explain its virtues be made to the editors.
