Cruise ship
Article Abstract:
The design of the largest cruise ship afloat features low-key interiors to avoid intimidating passengers. The design team, composed of Norwegian cruise ship architect Njal Eide and Italian architect Giacomo Mortola, sought to design a warm and inviting floating resort in Princess Cruise Line's Sun Princess, with its special function rooms designed for both relaxation and style. Its passenger cabins, finished in light wood tones, provide large bathrooms and storage spaces for an ultimate experience in comfort.

Willie G. Davidson Product Development Center
Article Abstract:
The interior design of the Willie G. Davidson Product Development Center in Wauwatosa, WI, owned by Harley-Davidson was created by Flad and Associates to reflect the facility's new business credo of intercorporate communication and cooperation. The building's structure was inspired by the designs of the motorcycles developed by Harley. Warm and dark tones of gray were also used to emphasize the technical appeal and forms of motorcycle prototypes in the center.
