Rhapsody in blue
Article Abstract:
The Irving S. Gilmore Music Library at Yale University is a classic example of Gothic architecture applied to a collegiate setting. The library, built from the former courtyard of the Sterling Memorial Library, was designed by the architectural firm Shepley Bulfinch Richardson and Abbott Architects (SBRA) as part of the restoration work it did on Sterling. SBRA's design of the Gilmore music library includes a 60-ft high vaulted ceiling complete with arched trusses and curved walls.

Bank notes
Article Abstract:
UMB has opened a branch in Independence, MO, that successfully blends the elements of modern banking and traditional living. Designed by the Gould Evans Goodman Associates, the new facility features banal materials and distinctive furnishings that match the city's old-fashioned atmosphere. Instead of employing fortified teller mirrors and numerous security guards, the bank is equipped with a variety of art displays.
