Western Heritage Museum

Article Abstract:

HDR Inc. took charge of renovating and expanding the floor space of the Western Heritage Museum in Omaha, NE, whose original design resembles that of a train station done in the Art Deco style. The architectural firm retained the corrugated metal and arched roof of the original design to preserve the historical association. However, modern lighting and mechanical systems were installed to provide it with a more comfortable environment.
