Hotel

Article Abstract:

Design firm Chahda, Siembieda and Partners created a contemporary combination of art deco and Japanese designs for the Kitano New York Hotel. Wood tones dominate the decorating scheme with the designers' extensive use of wood paneling and light brown fabrics and walls which are then complemented by light green carpeting. The guest rooms feature nostalgic photographs, prints and sculptures, while a separate set of guest rooms were created based on traditional Japanese designs.
