'Interiors' and the Chicago Merchandise Mart cosponsored the 1996 competition for home office furniture and product design at the NeoCon '96. The first prize went to the Summerland Group for their self-contained workstation that comes in five models. Stylex makes a splash with a NeoCon showroom awash in color
Article Abstract:
Stylex showcased its four seating lines at the NeoCon '96 in trade show style. The lines were designed by Robin Drake, who used vivid colors such as blueberry and fire-engine red and were displayed against a bright yellow background. Hanging sculptures in Pop Art style by Paul Chen added a playful air to the line's names: an exclamation point for Verve, paper airplanes for Glide, musical notes for Bop and three huge bubbles for Bounce.
