New ideas in photojournalism
Article Abstract:
Photojournalists should take advantage of technological innovations in the field of photography to develop a new form of visual narrative that emphasizes ideas. Hence, a thorough evaluation of photojournalism as a profession is needed. The adoption of a humanistic approach in the practice of photojournalism will ensure that photojournalists go beyond the stereotypical coverage of celebrities. In addition, new ideas should be evaluated on their merits first, then their possibilities, so that the flow of ideas is not restricted.
