Stresses and strains
Article Abstract:
Repetitive strain injury (RSI) is associated with poor ergonomics and tends to mainly affect the upper body, in particular the neck, shoulders, elbows, hands and wrists. The condition can be avoided by taking preventative measures such as ensuring correct posture; stress-relief, via breaks and muscle relaxation training; and a good environment. Companies can avoid litigation by purchasing office furniture which meets European and British standards.
