SND and the book: Inspiration and conversation

Article Abstract:

The Society for News Design (SND) after 25 years in 2004, with 2,600 members and a worldwide reach, has fundamentally changed newspaper design in the United States. The president of SND stated that the creation was critical in helping newspaper design a legitimate discipline in journalism for a hesitant industry, especially the traditional editors who were preoccupied with editing newspapers for politicians and each other.
