Georgia and northeastern Florida boast of historic sites comprised of cities, forts and plantations that date back to the Colonial and Civil War eras. Historic sites in Savannah, St. Simons Island, Brunswick, Jekyll Island, St. Marys port and Cumberland Island are described.

Barboursville Vineyards
Article Abstract:
The Zonin brothers, owners of the largest privately-owned winery in Italy, purchased the Barboursville Vineyard in Virginia as part of their expansion program. The brothers also undertook the restoration of the colonial house in the purchased estate.
