Tartan terrorism & the Scottish press
Article Abstract:
Scotland preserved its own educational, legal and religious traditions with the help of its vigorous and independent national press. However, the Scottish national press was affected badly by the press invasion made by England as it opened offices near the border and published Scottish editions of their papers with the 'Daily Record' as its prime target. The invasion was initiated by Rupert Murdoch's News International.
