Wondering how to attract younger readers?
Article Abstract:
A smaller version than the larger newspaper, written in easy to understand language can attract groups who are not used to reading especially young people, immigrants and people with dyslexia. Journalists with special skills and the ability to teach are needed, to produce this kind of newspaper.

Bakersfield Criagslist, which was launched in February 2005, was the first and foremost young, hip online commerce community created by a US newspaper. Dozens of bands publicize their gigs in their events calendar whereas others post personals and 'musicians wanted' ads.
