Kids' stuff

Article Abstract:

Nickelodeon achieved success after its second launching in 1985. The children's channel debuted in 1979 but did not gain a wide following because it was showing only educational shows. When it was re-launched six years later, it had a new logo and a new mission to deliver what children really wanted. The channel now has the largest share in its target markets and has become one of the most profitable subsidiaries of Viacom.
