Leslie Norton has produced a bio-bibliography of Leonide Massine's works and Hunting Hybrids, a study of three ballets he created in collaboration with the surrealist painter Salvador Dali. Her latest offering, Leonide Massine and the 20th Century Ballet, establishes Massine as a major force in twentieth-century ballet and reveals the issues that caused his decline and fall in America after World War II.
