Article Abstract:

The venerable Danish firm of Georg Jensen Silversmiths is internationally celebrated for its sterling flatware and fine hollowware, but the company's first designs in 1904, and some of its most important pieces since, have been jewelry. Jensen jewelry is almost immediately recognizable by its substantial weight, bold motifs, semi-matte finish and sculptural forms.
