Article Abstract:
The ground-based observations led by Michael Mumma of NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center and also the European Agency's Mars Express orbiter have traced the signs of the gas Methane on Mars. The new evidence pointed to blocks of ice lurking just beneath the surface of the equatorial region of Mars and has led to speculation of life on Mars.
