Article Abstract:
Three automobiles with 12-cylinder engines were evaluated. The 1991-1997 BMW 850i/850Ci models were noted for their classic appearance, while the 1989-1995 Jaguar XJ-S models were relatively cheaper. The 1993-1997 Mercedes-Benz 600SL/SL600 models had the best all-around performance.

Travel and save: buy a car in Europe and subsidize your vacation
Article Abstract:
It is possible to pay for a vacation on the money saved from buying a European-made car in Europe. Savings vary, but approximately $2,610 can be saved on the purchase of a Volvo 940 and $5,725 on a Mercedes-Benz S500. Other benefits, and a few drawbacks, are discussed.

More than 300 Camry owners, evenly divided between 4- and 6-cylinder types, responded to a detailed questionnaire with glowing reports about the car's reliability and workmanship. It had only two problem areas reported by 5% or more readers: early tire and brake wear.
