Ferrari's last secret; Enzo had an eye on Indy - in 1987

Enzo Ferrari commissioned the design and building of a Indy racing car and, reportedly, tested it with the full knowledge of the Formula One officials. Apparently Ferrari was threatening to leave Formula One racing and race in the US. However, the car was never raced.

Le Mans 1955: Three who were there

A devastating racing accident took place at Le Mans on June 11, 1955 killing around 100 people, as a result of which US and other nations cancelled all remaining events. The effect of the accident on three American drivers who took part in the race is described.
