Jimmy Vasser currently leads the PPG/Indy Car World Series, but Al Unser Jr. is a close second in points. Not to be underestimated is Alex Zanardi, who rose to third place following a close victory at the Mid-Ohio Miller 200. The results of the three races are listed.

Panis beats the odds
Article Abstract:
Panis was a long shot to win the Monaco Grand Prix, with a starting position of 14th place. Panis and his Ligier JS43, powered by a Mugen-Honda engine, beat second place winner David Coulthard and his McLaren-Mercedes car by four seconds.

The Oldsmobile Cutlass Supremes had a good showing in the 1991 SCCA Trans-Am, but had to settle for consolation prize as they finished behind Chevrolet. In 1992, they will be entering the IMSA STS series instead.
