Amazing greys
Article Abstract:
One of the most interesting animals that thrive in the coast of Vancouver Island is the grey whale, which weighs an average of 22-38 tons. The whales, which travel up to 6000 kilometers during migration, have tail flukes that provide power equivalent to a 500-horsepower engine.
