Article Abstract:

A 5,044-mile, two-week, coast-to-coast trip in a bright yellow Lamborghini Diablo is described. The Jacksonville, FL, to Monterey, CA, trip, which may have been the longest single trip ever taken in a Diablo, proved the Lamborghini to be a good touring car, despite some exotic flaws.

BMW Isettas, manufactured in Germany from 1955-1959, were tiny egg-shaped cars powered by a single-cylinder four-stroke engine. A 1958 Isetta was restored and driven from the Midwest to Memphis, TN, with many mishaps and breakdowns along the way.
