Article Abstract:
The Australian market has had such a proliferation of communications equipment vendors, that purchasers are completely confused, according to Dick Osmond of Voca Communications. Some vendors are pulling out of Australia. The Group III facsimile market is expected to grow, as businesses recognize its flexibility and transmission speed of up to 9600 BPS. Group IV, a systems application requiring very large broadband channels, is not expected to be widely marketed for several years.
