Batter up: what happens when Ted Williams - the splendid spatula - steps up to the plate
Article Abstract:
Baseball great Ted Williams approaches frying pike with the same determination he had when he became the last baseball player to have a .400 batting average in one season. Although his vision has been hampered by two strokes, he still works with his cook Robert Hogerheide to prepare his favorite dishes. His recipes for angler's pike and banana cream pie are included with Hogerheide's Greek lamb.
