Article Abstract:

The spectacular returns that private equities have generated in recent times are drawing in more speculators into the ring. However, the risk is much higher now because returns on these equities may not be as great as they were in past. New equities may entail greater uncertainty, as private equities take longer to recuperate from any investment realization or return generation unlike the shares traded on stock exchanges.
