Article Abstract:
The view of Gordon Thring, chairman of the CPA national tax practice committee, is that CPAs will have good and bad news for clients throughout 2004. The various tax issues and their effect on the tax practitioners and their clients with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) highlighting major problem areas in tax practice and hope for major changes to be implemented by next elections is discussed.
