Bone mineral density is related to blood pressure in man

Article Abstract:

A study was conducted to determine the relationship between bone mineral density (BMD) and blood pressure in 214 men, between 20-26 years of age. Although results showed diastolic blood pressure negatively related to femoral neck BMD, further studies would be required to determine the causal relation between elevated blood pressure and low bone mass.

Male/female weight of internal organs: examination across multiple populations

Article Abstract:

The male/female weight relationship for internal organ weights in the 50th percentile was examined using autopsy data in eight populations. Male height was expressed as a function of the female value in each population to examine if findings correlated with height and weight of the whole body.
