Age and perceived stress independently influence daily blood pressure levels and variation among women employed in wage jobs
Article Abstract:
This article examines the relationship between self-reported stress, age, and blood pressure levels in working women. Findings indicate that middle aged women had the lowest blood pressure levels overall and that women who experienced work-related stress had higher blood pressure levels than women who were under stress at home.

Effects of age, ethnicity and menopause on ambulatory blood pressure: Japanese-American and Caucasian school teachers in Hawaii
Article Abstract:
This article examines blood pressure measurements of women teachers in Hawaiian public schools. The authors did not find any significant difference in number of reported symptoms between teachers of Caucasian and Japanese-American ethnicity, although Japanese-Americans had higher risks for developing hypertension.
