Frequency of color blindness among Nigerian school children in Lagos
Article Abstract:
The frequencies of red-green color blindness among Black Africans and Black Americans are lower than among Caucasians. A study administered to 5,580 boys and 5,580 girls in primary and secondary school in Lagos showed that the frequency of total color-blindness between genders was not significantly different. However, the frequencies of red-green color blindness were significantly different.

Permanent tooth emergence among Zambian schoolchildren: a standard for the assignment of ages
Article Abstract:
The mean age per number of permanent teeth as a standard to determine the age of rural Zambian children is supportable. The age estimates were compared against known ages in a sample of 543 Zambian schoolchildren. The standard allows the child to be assigned an age based on the total number of permanent teeth.

Increased tooth crown size in females with twin brothers: evidence for hormonal diffusion between human twins in utero
Article Abstract:
Issues of hormonal diffusion in utero are discussed. Research provides evidence for diffusion of sex hormones from male to female co-twins as indicated by the masculinization of the females, observed as an increase in size of the maxillary canine. These results were not duplicated in male twins.
