Nutrient uptake by microorganisms according to kinetic parameters from theory as related to cytoarchitecture
Article Abstract:
Research was conducted to clarify the relationships between the nutrient uptake of microorganisms and the physical and biochemical principles relevant to the process. Objectives include the definition of the constants specifying the rates, the application of these considerations and the organization of kinetic constants as an index of the ability to collect nutrients. Results indicate that kinetic characteristics specify the ability of microorganisms to prevail through raw competition for nutrients.

Fate and activity of microorganisms introduced into soil
Article Abstract:
Agricultural microbiological research indicates that beneficial microorganisms tend to survive and grow in soil after innoculation if the abiotic and biotic soil characteristics are well suited to their nutritional and physiological needs. Improvements to research methods are achieved with careful consideration of soil type, ecological environment, choice of beneficial microorganism and carrier materials. Future research is required to improve our understanding of the subject.
