The diverse functions of Kruppel-like factors 4 and 5 in epithelial biology and pathobiology
Article Abstract:
The diverse functions of Kruppel-like factors (KLFs) 4 and 5 in epithelial biology and pathobiology were examined. It was seen that KLF5 and KLF5 are important in maintaining tissue integrity as they respond to numerous external stress stimuli and are likely involved in restoring cellular homeostasis but KLF4 and KLF5 are both dysregulated in various types of cancer.

The blood coagulation system as a molecular machine
Article Abstract:
Research findings reveal that blood coagulation system controls hemostasis in vertebrates as exemplified by the coagulation cascade that occurs in bleeding wounds and production of coagulation enzymes during venous thrombosis. Data show that the human blood coagulation system consists of several linked glycoproteins, which upon activation induce fibrin formation.
