The sum total of Australian sake consumption was not enough to keep Australian sake brewer Sun Masamune in business, so the company went to other markets. It had limited success in Japan because of translation problems, conservative consumers, and a tightly-knit, regulated market, Sun Masamune will try to become independent of Japan and seek out Japanese communities in other parts of Asia.
