British pop singer Robbie Williams has overcome severe drink and drug problems to revitalize his flagging career as a popular entertainer. Williams, 24, has been enormously successful in the United Kingdom since undergoing rehabilitation. He shot to fame as a member of former pop group Take That and was a teenage idol for several years. Williams was nominated for six awards at British awards ceremony Brit Awards. He hopes to win over US audiences and performed well at his debut in Hollywood, California.
