Why have earnings per worker stagnated?

Article Abstract:

US workers face stagnation in their real average earnings because of dramatic changes in employment and income. The increasing number of women in the labor force has resulted to the distribution of income and thus, reducing real earnings received per worker. The stagnation is also caused by slow productivity growth and smaller returns to productivity. The rapid growth of companies and the expansion of industries results to higher employment, but less pay for each worker.
