Clinton seeks end to Aegean dispute
Article Abstract:
Pres Clinton met with Greek Premier Costas Simitis in Apr 1996, and recommended that the Greek dispute with Turkey over an island in the Aegean Sea be arbitrated by the International Court of Justice. The two nations both claim jurisdiction over the inhabited island known as Imia and Kardak.
