Australia's eMedical online medical and pharmaceutical service has attracted around 5,500 members so far, with an average of 100 people joining each week. Since its launch in Jun 2000, it has expanded to offer online consulting and an online pharmacy. It was originally a free basic information site, but has now become more sophisticated.
